Description:: " Copper engraving original hand colouring. Overall size : 57cms.x 48cms. Image size : 470mm.x 365mm. Title in cartouche at lower left, scale of distance, top right. English text to verso. Watermarked paper. Centre fold as issued. Dr Marcel van Den Broecke (www.orteliusmaps.com) estimates there to have been 250 examples of this map printed. Map area itself in excellent condition; very slight abrasion and weakness marking bottom of centrefold ; odd Y shaped old blue paper strengthening on verso of printer’s crease. One pinprick hole below Dragona only visible when held up to the light Slight browning to right margin and dusting to bottom right corner but very good otherwise."
