- " From the second edition of Barent Langenes’ “Caert-thresoor”, this was published in Amsterdam by Cornelis Claesz. Almost certainly engraved by Van den Keere Copper engraving with later hand colouring. Overall size in : 16cms.x 11.5cms. Image size : 125mm.x 86mm.County name in plain cartouche at bottom right. Show-through from reverseparticularly visible in blank areas-see magnified image -not offensive otherwise very good condition. This map includes the west Coast of Saudi Arabia & part of Yemen. It extends from the Gulf of Suez in the north to Zoyla and Agor in the centre of Ethiopia. It shows the watercourses, the towns and the mountains along the two banks of the Red Sea. "
