This map was produced for inclusion in the Large English Atlas which was the finest county atlas produced in the 18th.Century and was the largest scale atlas produced to date. Clearly engraved in detail with views and panels of text in the areas surrounding each county describing the commerce and the state of the principal cities. Dissected into sixteen squares and backed on linen folding into marbled slipcase with label : Hereford. Published by Laurie & Whittle. 53 Fleet Street, London. One other label 'Herefordsh' on spine, some slight scuffing to bottom and corners but generally very good; linen backing a little mottled and some browning and dusting on map itself else good condition. In the UK, now, we send either by recorded or registered delivery so that the parcels are trackable - we are happy to send to a work address but please add the name of the organisation or the Post Office will not deliver the parcel.
We will send out parcels within two days of receiving the all clear from the online banking services. Parcels should arrive within 2 to 3 days in the U.K. and within 21 days elsewhere. In the rare and unfortunate case that damage does occur in transit all packaging must be kept.
