Long title: Buckinghamshire divided into Hundreds ,Containing the County and Market Towns wich concise Historical Extracts relative to its Natural Produce, Trand & Manufactures etc. Copper engraving with original outline hand colouring. Overall size in hinged, off white fully conservation grade mount and back with decorative v groove : 38cms.x 49.2cms. Image size : 222mm.x 320mm. Some dark marks at border edge at centrefold under the mount and little darkening bottom left (see magnified image), splash mark to left of cartouche and dark mark in Explanation key else good condition. Rare. Like Bowen (and Kitchin's) Large English Atlas these smaller maps are 'characterized by detailed texts in the spaces surrounding the map and by elegant rococo decoration, which became the hallmark of his engraving' (Iolo Roberts and Menai Roberts for DNB). In the UK, now, we send either by recorded or registered delivery so that the parcels are trackable - we are happy to send to a work address but please add the name of the organisation or the Post Office will not deliver the parcel.

We will send out parcels within two days of receiving the all clear from the online banking services. Parcels should arrive within 2 to 3 days in the U.K. and within 21 days elsewhere. In the rare and unfortunate case that damage does occur in transit all packaging must be kept.
