Lord and Lady Holland.Copper engraving ; later hand colouring. Overall size in off white fully conservation grade mountand back with decorative v groove : 51.5cms x 42.4cms.Image size including title : 353mm x 246mm. Very good condition. Fox and Mrs Fox and their party bowing low to Napoleon as he sits on a throne with his arms resting on globes of the world. Trotter's memeoirs report that Napoleon actually greeted Fox thus: 'Ah, Mr Fox! I have heard with pleasure of your arrival! I have desired much to see you. I have long admired in you the orator, and friend of his country, who, in constantly raising his voice for peace, consulted that country's best interests - those of Europe and of the human race. ..'

In the UK, now, we send either by recorded or registered delivery so that the parcels are trackable - we are happy to send to a work address but please add the name of the organisation or the Post Office will not deliver the parcel.

We will send out parcels within two days of receiving the all clear from the online banking services. Parcels should arrive within 2 to 3 days in the U.K. and within 21 days elsewhere. In the rare and unfortunate case that damage does occur in transit all packaging must be kept.
