Finely illustrated double hemisphere map of the World with small map of the northern hemisphere bottom middle. Highly decorative, the map shows Australia (New Holland) with Diemens Land attached This is a magnificent double-hemisphere world map showing the recent discoveries in the Pacific and northern seas. The Sandwich Islands are annotated as the place where Cook was killed and the tracks of his voyages and the dates of his major discoveries are shown. New Zealand is fully formed but Tasmania is shown as being attached to Australia and the southern coast is unexplored. There are celestial and terrestrial globes at the toop corners and an orrery and compass in the bottom corners. An inset of the North Pole nestles between the hemispheres at the bottom which is balanced by the title encased in globe shape at the top. Decorative garlands swag the top, bottom and sides.

Listed below are our shipping costs for delivery of our antique maps and prints to customers around the world. All items are carefully packaged to protect them from possible damage. Purchase more than one item in a single transaction to make a saving!
In the UK, now, we send either by recorded or registered delivery so that the parcels are trackable - we are happy to send to a work address but please add the name of the organisation or the Post Office will not deliver the parcel.
We will send out parcels within two days of receiving the all clear from the online banking services. Parcels should arrive within 2 to 3 days in the U.K. and within 21 days elsewhere. In the rare and unfortunate case that damage does occur in transit all packaging must be kept.
