Very good conditon apart from slight mottling top right corner and in also in bottom left blank area, barely worth mentioning. The Companion Atlas grew out of the need to illustrate Fullarton's Gazetteer of the World, published in 8vo parts between 1850 and 1856. This was later extended into the Royal Illustrated Atlas see Phillips, Atlases 832
