Fine hand coloured aquatint with large margins. Overall size, hinged, in off white fully conservation grade mount and back with decorative v groove: 49.2cms x 42.2cms; 221mm x 251mm. One grey speck in bottom margin and faint brown mark bottom left image corner else superb condition. A view of Dam Square in Amsterdam shortly after the withdrawal of French troops. It was published in Robert Bowyer's 'Triumphs in Europe, in the Campaigns of the Years 1812, 1813, 1814 commemorated by a Series of Twelve Views...', which celebrated (prematurely) the end of the Napoleonic Wars.
