One Inch to One Statute Mile. Electrotyped in 1863 Published at the Tower of London 1st September 1832 by Lieut. Colonel Colby of the Royal Engineers.  Engraved at the Ordnance Map Office in the Tower under the direction of Lieut Colonel Colby by Benjamin Baker and his Assistants.   Overall sheet size : 51cms x 34.1cms; image size: 478mm x 335 mm inc imprint.  Trimmed at bottom so only half of Scale one inch to a Statute Mile is extant. Very good condition, dark , strong impression.  Hay , Clyro  at top middle  also Dorston top right and Talgarth mid left, Castell Dinas and the Black Mountains, Capel-y-ffin etc.  One pale brown streak to the right of Clodock else very good condition.
