Long title: A New and Accurate Map of Europe from the best Authorities.
Copper engraving with full wash original hand colouring, the different colours indicating the different boundaries.  Brown marks to the margins and one in the blank of Asia and further down opposite Anatolia.  Please see images.  Overall sheet size: 38cms x 31.7cms; image size: 345mm x 291mm.  Europe during the Napoleonic Wars.  

 

Thomas Brown 1764-1820 was an Edinburgh based bookseller, publisher, printseller, stationer and originally an engraver.  His maps are uncommon.
