Copper engraving with full wash original hand colouring, the different colours indicating the different boundaries.  Overall sheet size: 29cms x 37.2cms; image size: 242mm x 332mm.  Odd mark to the margins else very good condition.  Very clear engraving and delicate hand colouring.  Also includes the Falkland Islands, Georgi and ‘Sandwich Land’.  

Thomas Brown 1764-1820 was an Edinburgh based bookseller, publisher, printseller, stationer and originally an engraver.  His maps are uncommon.
