Long title:A New and Accurate Map of Turkey in Asia, from the best Authorities . Engraved by S. Neele.   Copper engraving with full wash original hand colouring, the different colours indicating the different boundaries.  Overall sheet size: 38.2cms x 31.8cms; image size: 341mm x 291mm. Covers Anatolia, Cyprus, Syria, Armenia, Paalestine, Iraq, Kurdistan.  Some brown spotting, largest in Armenia, then less to the west of Lake Van and two spots on mountain range in Algezira and couple of spots in margin else good condition.  

Thomas Brown 1764-1820 was an Edinburgh based bookseller, publisher, printseller, stationer and originally an engraver.  His maps are uncommon.
