Copper engraving with full wash original hand colouring, the different colours indicating the different boundaries.  Overall sheet size: 31.7cms x 38.5cms; image size: 290mm x 342mm.   Explanation key denoting symbols for Cities, Bishopricks, Universities etc  Some marks to the margins else very good condition.
Thomas Brown 1764-1820 was an Edinburgh based bookseller, publisher, printseller, stationer and originally an engraver.  His maps are uncommon.
