Scale: 4¼ : 1 statute mile.  The map covers from  Hide Park to Hnover Street, Mile End Old Town (W to E); Sadlers Wells in the North to Newington Butts in the South. Description: Folding plan printed on good heavy paper paper. Hand coloured. Title set in top margin.  Please see verso for strengthening on verso and one repaired tear  some 6 cms into map in green fields on right, now not visible from front only from verso. Right slim margin augmented with old paper Beautiful clear engraving with great detail in good condition.  
It is cited in Howgego (No. 144) as Anonymous, and was most likely published in The Gentleman's Magazine (first published in 1731 by Edward Cave), The Universal Magazine of Knowledge and Pleasure (first published 1740), or similar publication.
